A quick glance of the Porsche 911 classifieds will reveal a number of 911 SC cars available, but rarely do they tick all of the boxes as this car does. It is low mileage with just 69,478 miles which is warranted as it also has a complete service history with two stamped up service books. This is a rare car in that it has been exceptionally well looked after all of its life which reflects in near perfect bodywork and a superb interior which does not show any significant wear. This really is an exceptionally nice car which in our view does tick all of the boxes if you are seeking an investment grade car that can also be used.

Prior to sale we have gone through the car and ensured everything works and that includes the headlamp washers! The latest MOT is advisory free and expires in Oct 2022.

Mechanically the car is on the button and runs beautifully and goes through the gears without issue. A prior custodian had the car checked and decided to have all of the head studs replaced with a modern equivalent so that the one issue which can plague these cars has been rectified. At the same time it seemed sensible to treat the engine to a full top end rebuild and the clutch was replaced at the same time when the engine was out. The total cost of this was over £6k and this was done at 68,306 miles in 2015.

There is a Certificate of Authenticity on file and this lists the original color as Guards Red with a black leather interior and optional equipment of impact absorbers, electric mirror on the passenger side, headlamp washers, sports seats, rear wiper, electric antenna, and speakers in doors.

The bodywork is near mint with the odd paint chip on the driver's door edge and a chip on the bumper. Otherwise the paint finish is exceptionally good with a flat finish and mark free.

There is a similar story for the interior with all of the leather seats in good condition including the driver's seat. At the ends of the dashboard at some point an alarm system had be installed and the dash has had very tiny repairs at both ends to make good after the alarm system was taken out. The targa top is like new with good seals.

The tyres were replaced in 2015 and all have good tread and are in good condition. The underside of the car is excellent and the engine is drip free.

There is not much to dislike about this 911 as it really does tick the boxes and we feel we have priced it competitively compared to what else is available for such a low mileage and well preserved SC.
