This 1970 MG Midget was the subject of a total rebuild in 2004 utilising a heritage body. The car was fitted with a new cream interior and finished in Damask Red. The rebuild included a new wiring loom, suspension and brakes.The car continues to look very fresh as the photographs will demonstrate and it is clear the car has been well looked after since the rebuild took place. The engine is a factory reconditioned Gold Seal unit. More recent work has included a new clutch and alternator.

The correct Rostyle wheels are fitted and with recent new chrome bumpers the car really presents well. The engine bay is nicely detailed. The hood is in excellent condition and the car also comes with a full and half tonneau.

There is a thick history file documenting the rebuild and work that has been done to the car over the years. The file also includes a heritage certificate, Midget workshop manual and lots of MOT certificates.

The car starts on the button and drives exceptionally well, moving through the gears without issue. This is a super example of a MK3 Midget and with the added benefit of the heritage shell it should provide many years of happy motoring for its next custodian.
