Description
This MGB Roadster started life as a GT, but was rebodied in 1996 with a roadster heritage shell by Brown and Gammons. The shell was also painted by them at the time to a high standard and even over 20 years later the car still presents very well indeed as the photographs will demonstrate. The car has been with the same custodian since 1985 and has been well preserved with regular servicing and maintenance. The car has recently been subject to a full service.
The paint presents very well indeed with just the odd blemish and the panel fits are good. The engine bay also presents well. The interior is in good condition with just some minor wear to the driver's seat squab. The vinly roof is relatively new with clear and unmarked rear windows.
The car starts on the button and runs cleanly and drives as it should with a working overdrive. The painted steel wire wheels have been refurbished in recent months and other recent maintenance work includes new rear brake cylinders and a new brake master cylinder.
The history file contains lots of invoices including the one for the heritage shell as well as various MOTs.
This car is an excellent example of a B roadster and has been priced competitively for a heritage bodied car.
Given the current situation with COVID 19 we can supply any additional photographs that may be required as well as a video is needed. We can arrange transport of the car to anywhere in the UK at this time.
