Description
This MG TD has been the subject of a complete restoration which has involves stripping the car back to the chassis. The restoration has been completed to a high standard and no part of the car has been untouched. This has included replacement of the majority of the ash frame, a full engine and gearbox rebuild, new leather seats, new mohair canvas hood and sidescreens along with just about everything else which has either been refurbished or replaced. The final paint finish has also been done to an excellent standard and the finished product is efectively a brand new MG TD.
Importantly the restoration has been well documented through photographs and a fat history file of invoices. The parts invoices for the rebuild come to almost £13,000. The car has only recently been completed and after a suitable run in period this car is ready for the 2018 season with nothing to do apart from being driven and enjoyed.
If you are seeking a TD series MG this car is going to be very hard to beat and the cost to replicate it would far exceed the asking price. The car comes with a full history file of invoices along with photographs of the rebuild and a full workshop manual.
