The Targa version of the 993 was introduced in 1996 and was the first use of a retractable glass roof which slides electrically back underneath the rear window providing an open top motoring experience which is hard to beat.

This Porsche 911 (993) Targa 3.6 Carrera 2 with varioram has been well cared for and presents in superb condition. The full service book, the last of which was undertaken by Porsche specialist Octane Garage in November of this year, shows that the car has been meticulously cared for even down to the recent replacement of the bonnet gas struts. The car starts on the button and idles smoothly. It pulls well and moves through the gears without issue. The ride is also smooth and we note from the history file that the front suspension bushes were replaced along with new front shock absorbers in Nov 2016.

The car comes with a thick history file detailing miscellaneous work carried out over the years along with an almost full MOT history dating back to 1999. The service book is full with the last service just completed.

The 993 is the last of the aircooled cars and undoubtedly provides one of the best driving experiences. With the prices of the 993 model still moving upwards, this car which is in a condition that some sub 100,000 mile cars would struggle to match is in our view excellent value at £34,995.
