An exceptionally nice 1972 Triumph TR6 150bhp. As always when it comes to sourcing a TR6 panel gaps are of paramount importance and this one ticks all of the right boxes with nice even gaps and very good panel fit. This car has a very large history file going all the way back to the 70s which provides everything we need to know about this car. It was subject to a complete and comprehensive body refurbishment in 1990 at a cost of almost £7,000 which in today's money would be a significant sum indeed. The restoration was clearly to a very high standard and with the car having cover less than 20,000 miles since the restoration it still presents in fantastic condition.

The paint is still superb on the car and the interior is also in lovely order with a good dashboard. The addition of the Mota Lita steering wheel makes the cabin feel just right. On the road the car provides a typical TR6 performance with plenty of grunt and the car pulls well and the engine runs cleanly. We know from the history file that the engine was stripped down at 40,000 miles on the clock.

The only real negative with this car is that the hood is tired with fading of the cloth although it is fully rainproof and perfectly useable.

The history file contains a full complement of invoices dating back to the 70s and the body refurbishment was photographed and there are lots that have been taken throughout the various stages of the restoration.

Recent work that we have carried out includes a complete gearbox re-build and the front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed.

There are lots of TR6s out there but it is never easy to find a realy nice example which this car is. The current MOT expires on the 13th March 2018.
