Description
This car is incredibly original which is how we like our cars to be.
It has certainly been well looked after with a superb original interior, good dash board, headlining and door cards. The body is superb and blemish free with fantastic paint and no dents or imperfections. We would rate the chrome as very good although it has been polished well over the years and so is slightly faded in places - though this in no way detracts from the car.
The engine bay is superb and well detailed as you will see from the pictures.
The car has a vinyl roof which sets it off well and gives it a rather distinguished look.
The engine starts on the button and runs very well, purring as a Jaguar should with no sign of smoke.
We believe our car might have started life in Scotland and appears to have had a low number of previous owners, perhaps as little as four.
If you are seeking an example of this marque the 3.5 litre is the car to go for given the power it delivers providing scope for long distance touring in considerable comfort.
Having spent several years in heated dry storage the car has been recommissioned by us and is now ready for its next owner and the forthcoming show season.
This particular car ticks all of the boxes in our view given the difficulty of finding such an original and beautiful car. It would truely make a fantastic addition to any collection.
