18.09.00 - 123,614 miles
07.08.12 - 131,321 miles
The vast majority of services were undertaken by Porsche or Porsche specialists.
The car is still in relatively good condition. It starts, runs and can be driven a very short distance as the radiator currently leaks and will either need to be repaired or replaced. Further recommissioning work will also be necessary such as brakes and other standard processes you would need to go through before returning the car safely back to the road. The body work is generally in good condition, but some cosmetic improvement could be made to a few areas where the paint has suffered. This is mainly at the front tip of the bonnet and also the offside rear wing which has a dent. The interior leather seats are all generally in good order with no rips or tears. The passenger door card is currently in pieces but it is all there and needs to be reassembled and returned to the car. The electrics will all need to be checked. The sun roof is operational.
The history file is thick with information with a fully stamped up service book along with the original driver's manual and other leaflets and booklets supplied when the car was new. The file includes a large number of service invoices and other invoices relating to work carried out on the car over the years. There is even all of the original paperwork when the car was bought from Porsche in 1987. Most of the old MOT certificates are also present. Looking through the file the last timing belt change was at 119,250 miles.
This is a car that certainly needs work to get it back on the road, but prior to it being stored it has been well looked after with very regular servicing. The engine sounds fine and for someone that has the right skill set there should not be too much work to get this car back on the road and by doing so you will be adding lots of value to it given the almost full provenance it comes with.
