This 1962 Morris Mini Pickup is now a very rare car, especially the very early examples such as this one. This pickup can only be described as in as new condition and quite probably better. It has been treated to an extensive and very thorough restoration resulting in a pickup that will undoubtedly win shows. The body and paintwork has been done to a very good standard and the interior has been completely refurbished. The engine was not rebuilt as it has a believed genuine 28,800 miles on the clock and an assessment was made that it simply did not need it. This has car has the floor push button starter and sliding windows, plus the large door bins and external boot hinges which are features of the early cars. This car also benefits from a brand new canvas tilt at a cost of £1,600. The tilt was surprisingly an optional extra on a pickup. This one also has a full width rear bumper which is another feature of the early pickups.

The history file contains the original buff logbook and amazingly a copy of the original purchase invoice. There is also a heritage letter detailing that this is an original pickup.
