Description
This Stag was last on the road in 1987 and will require a full restoration. The car has survived quite well and whilst there are areas of blistering and work required to areas such as the front wheel arches, the underside is in generally good shape with just light corrosion. The sills all appear to be solid. The floor pans are all good as you will see in the photographs. The car has done a little under 49,000 miles from new and the interior is almost mint apart from some wear to the piping on the driver's seat bolster. The interior woodwork is almost like new.
The hood has no holes although the rear screen is badly misted. The hardtop has light surface rust but is in generally good shape. As you would expect the engine is seized.
This car has lots of potential with some bodywork required and a re-spray. The interior needs nothing and you are left with bringing the engine back to life. Lots to do, but for someone with the right skill set there is lots of potential to add value to this car.
We have an old style V5 on record and the buyer will have to apply for a new V5. The original instruction manual also comes with the car.
