Description
We have been asked to sell on behalf of a local client this 1970 Morris Minor which was previously supplied to them by the Charles Ware Morris Minor Centre. It has clearly been restored in the past and now presents as an older restoration. The paint finish as the photographs will demonstrate is very good and the issues relate to some minor rust in just a few areas. The recent MOT has identified some deterioration to the wood mainly under the nearside rear door, but this can be easily addressed in due course.
Overall the car still actually presents very well and the interior is in generally very good order. The front seats are a departure from the normal seats you would find, but they do provide for a much more comfortable and improved driving position. The rear seats are in good order and the loading bay is also in good condition.
The car as typically for a Morris Minor starts on the button and drives very well. A service has just been undertaken and a new rear brake cylinder has been fitted as part of this. The car has a brake servo and is fitted with inertia reel seat belts front and rear
The history file includes miscellaneous invoices as well as the current MOT which expires in June 2024 along with a handbook.
Overall this car remains in generally good condition and it wouldn't take a huge amount of work to take it to a higher level or simply use the car as it is.
