This 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 Roadster is one of the best examples we have come across for quite some time. The car was treated to a £50k refurbishment in 2010 which was completed to a very high standard. The panel alignment is superb with the doors and bonnet sitting flush which so often is not the case if a car is put back together badly. This car really ticks the boxes with all elements of the car having been refurbished or replaced where needed. This included a full body refurbishment and mechanics where needed such as the brakes, brake servo and clutch. The interior is black leather which was reconnolised and is showing only minor wear. The top half of the engine was stripped and cleaned, but nothing further was required here as the car has a believed genuine 49,600 miles on the clock. It runs beautifully and pulls through the gears without issue.

The history file contains invoices and full spreadsheets of the work carried out in 2010. The car has been regularly maintained and has been with the same custodian for over 20 years. The car has the added benefit of a works style hard top. There is also a full workshop manual. There is a heritage certificate on file which confirms this is a matching numbers cars in its original colour scheme.

There are a lot of E-Types on the market, but surprisingly few are really nice examples with no corrosion issues and excellent panel alignment. This one does tick all of the boxes and we strongly recommend viewing if you are looking for an exceptional series 3 car.
