Description
This TR6 was the subject of a total restoration in 2002 which included an engine rebuild. Subsequent to that the car has had limited use and has completed a little over 5,000 miles since then.
The body is as new with no repairs of any kind and the same may also be said of the chassis. This is a matching numbers UK right hand drive car fitted with an overdrive gearbox. The paint finish is excellent with just the odd minor blemish. The interior was refurbished at the time of the restoration and the seats, door cards and dashboard are all in superb condition. The engine bay is nicely detailed and mechanically the car is excellent and it starts on the button, runs cleanly and pulls well through the gears and the working overdrive unit. The head has been converted to unleaded.
The front bumper does show some chrome peeling and would benefit from a re-chrome, but apart from that this car is in exceptionally nice condition and with an advisory free MOT which expires in August next year, it is now ready for a new custodian. The last owner had the car for 42 years!
