This superb Triumph TR3A has been with the same family for the last 30 years and only comes to market following the death of the owner. The car is in fantastic condition having been treated to a full body off restoration between 1997 and 2000 which was carried out by a professional restoration shop and is fully documented along with a photographic record. As part of the restoration the engine and gearbox were also rebuilt so effectively everything on the car was either restored or refurbished. Subsequent to the restoration the car was placed in storage and was unfortunately never used until now. To get the car roadworthy it has been fully recommissioned and has a current MOT which expires in August 2023.

The car starts on the button and runs cleanly and pulls well through the gears. The overdrive is working as it should with the car showing good oil pressure. It is a joy drive and the steel hard top really sets the car off well against the white coachwork and wire wheels. There are a few blemishes on the paint arising from its lengthy storage, but very little to detract from what is a super looking car. The carpets are threadbare in places and ideally should be replaced. The sidescreens are present and in good condition.

The history file contains all of the invoices relating to the restoration along with other miscellaneous invoices including the recent recommissioning. We have a heritage certificate on file which confirms that this is a matching numbers car in its original colour with its original interior.

This is a really excellent example which has a fully rebuilt engine and restored body that is just crying out to be used.
